Originating from Greece, Tsipouro is an unaged brandy that spends a short time in an oak barrel. Distilled from grape pomace, this refined brandy boasts rich aromas, evoking memories of a Greek Taverna on a warm summer night.
Make a delightful cocktail:
3-4 Dashes aromatic bitters
3/4 Ounce maple syrup
2 Ounces Tsipouro
1/2 Cinnamon stick
2 Whole cloves
Shake the above for 30 seconds.
Add ice to shaker and shake for an additional 30 seconds.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer over ice.
Garnish with 1/2 cinnamon stick and an orange twist and Enjoy!
